How does Jungle Scout calculate the daily average in the Tracker?

Good question!

The average units sold in the Tracker is different than the estimated sales you see in the Extension or Database. The AVG (average) is the total sales (since the system began tracking it, up to a maximum of 60 days) of the specific listing you are tracking divided by the number of days that it has been tracked. For example:

Day 1 sales: 10
Day 2 sales: 20
Day 3 sales: 15
Day 4 sales: 11

Your total sales for this product are: 10+20+15+11= 56

Divide 56 units by 4 days = AVG of 14 units sold per day

However, depending on the number of days the ASIN has been in the system, you can choose to see the average daily sales for seven, 14, 30 or 60 days.
